"If any of you are fans of the show "Dogtown", this little girl was featured in one of the first episodes. Her mom was Diane, a beautiful golden/red chow, and she and her 3 puppies were found during the winter. The puppies were nearly frozen to death, but we managed to save them. After that they were fondly referred to as "The Pupsicles". Carla is one of those pupsicles! All 3 were adopted from Best Friends when they were puppies. Carla is now 1 1/2 years old and was returned a few weeks ago. Another sad case of our economy where her family had to foreclose on their home and could no longer keep her. So Carla is back, and what a little sweetie. Very playful little chow mix. She's tiny though and looks kind of like a Basenji to me. Carla would be great for a little boy or girl who would love to run around and play with her!"
Pickles Gets Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy is used for dogs like Pickles who was born with bowlegs or some other medical condition that keeps them from being able to walk long distances. The therapy allows them to exercise without exacerbating their condition.
