Little Egrets are small white herons. They usually have a dark bill and dark legs with bright yellow feet, though they vary in colour in different parts of the world. Their plumage is particularly attractive on the crest and back.
The above Little Egret is tending its nest. The Little Egret breeding range covers Spain, the Mediterranean, Middle East, India, SE Asia and Australia.
