The cheetah is one of Africa's most endagered animals. in fact, there is speculation that they may not be able to be saved for more than a few generations. But there are a large number of dedicated people who are doing their best to help save these wonderful big cats from extinction. Rescue programs like the one they have here help to preserve the small amount of genetic diversity that they have left and help with breeding programs for parks, reserves and zoos worldwide.
