Great change from the 24/7/365 pace of the ship channel. Taken in Cartagena, Colombia.
Yesterday we went to visit my wifes's brother-in-law's mother (in the US, not such a close relation - in Colombia, real family). She's 91 and sharp as a tack. Full of stories about the parrot that died because of a vampire bat that lives in the church (wihich has its own story about how the devil twisted the belfry) and the six generations of cats that roam her enormous, crumbling 500 year old house. The cats are all similarly outfitted with coal black tails and one green and one blue eye. As far as Colombians are concerned, Gabriel Garcia Marquez didn't invent a literary genre; he just reported the facts.

I loved the original photo, I just had to change the colors a bit, don't ask why because I have no idea LOL
The photo below was taken the exact time with different white balance settings.
I am sick and sleepy, had a headache for 5 days, just packed my bag and I am going to sleep now like a road kill...I hope that I don't miss my flight.
