i worked at Astrocamp during the past '06 Fall. it was cool, but there was a weekend during which i had to leave camp and fly home for a weekend to take a test - don't worry, it went well. there was a stop on the way... Las Vegas. well, McCarran International Airport.
this wasn't supposed to be a big deal because my layover was only going to be 50 minutes. unfortunately, it lasted 7 hours.
my original flight, my flight to las vegas, was delayed and thus, i missed the flight leaving from vegas.
this could have been really cool - you know... play on the slots for a couple hours, lose 20 bucks - but i had no cash, and no way of getting cash. what i did was this:
i walked around the airport for at least 5 hours listening to my iPod. i just turned right the whole time until i could turn right any more, at which point i would turn around and continue the process.
it was interesting.
