strange sight. they were keeping this poor animal in that tiny cage within a larger empty pen. I don't know if the animal was sick or what, but it seems cruel that they would confine it in this manner. Given the fact that they genuinely appear to care about the pandas and their well-being, and that the rest of the facility is quite advanced by China standards, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
