Some cool vacation sell off images:
2.20.11 Nice Rack!

(51.365) I have a set of lockers in my sewing room, and when I originally got them, I thought the top of it would be a great place to keep Bendy, the finished bags, and some fabric-in-waiting.
Frank, however, thought it'd be a perfect spot for him to lay down...on TOP OF THE BAGS. (Of course he did.) Since I sell these bags on Etsy and really don't make them to be his own, personal bedding...I decided to switch that up quickly.
So instead I moved the bags off of the top of the lockers, put a cat bed, and asked Steph to make a rod so I could hang finished bags up...and not have the cats sleep on them.
With the holidays, then vacation, and a lot of jobs in-between, she had it made but not up yet. She took some time today to put the finishing touches on....and she's so cute, she even painted it to match the frames of my bulletin boards! I win in the best partner category!

David and I met while taking shots of the aftermath of the Gould Street wall collapse. It's happened a few times in the project, my stranger talked to me first. As we agreed, carrying a camera is an easy ice-breaker to meet new people.
David lives in Oakville and is a UPS operations manager. He was taking the week off work and decided to come downtown Toronto for the day with his wife. David is relatively new to photography, although it sounded like he's enjoyed eBay camera selling and buying over the years. He said he enjoying the technology perhaps more than photography in the past, but now, he's taking a couple of photography courses at Humber College and is enjoying taking shots of his children and some vacation nature spots. As a new student of photography he tries to shoot completely in manual mode, but loves his latest camera ( a Canon EOS-1D) and his pro lenses.
A took a few shots of David and really liked this composition, but my focusing was a little off so I had to do some rescuing with Photoshop. It really is hard sometimes to check focusing on the LCD in bright sunlight.
David is #52 in my 100 strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at www.100Strangers.com.
