Locals at ice cream shop

The man on the left was quite helpful to us, even if he was selling entertainment packages. He claimed to be selling a card that would get 40-60% discounts on excursions. We'd already purchased ours online and he helped get us some information about it by calling their office on his cell phone.
I've put his name and the cell number he gave us in the notes. It may be worth contacting him if you'll be doing multiple excursions in Puerto Vallarta. When we saw him he was in an ice cream shop on the far north end of the malecon, but I don't know if he always works out of there or not.

Included in the resort package were watersports including a sailboat ride, but they were going out into the ocean, and I get mighty, mighty seasick...
Nicole and a monkey

For a tip, they allowed us to take a photo. This monkey was sort-of part of the Rainforest Cafe experience. You have to tip everyone in Cancun, even the person who bags your two items at the Cancun Walmart. If your hotel package says, "All inclusive, including gratuities", don't believe it. Word has not gotten down to maid service, van service, bell people, taxi drivers, bartenders, waitstaff, Walmart baggers, etc...
