This cat tunnel has now been experienced by 5 different cats: Samhain, Misfit, Runny/Tigger (the rejected kitten), Beavis, and now Oranjello. It is basically a huge spring that can be compressed.
Thus, a fun thing to do is to compress the tunnel, wait til the cat gets near it, then let go and watch the tunnel fly up in the air. This freaks the cat out for a second, but as soon as it hits the ground, he is very excited as this (now moving) toy!
