Iceland is not known for having a huge variety of animals. In fact, you'll be lucky if you see anything more than sheeps, horses and a few cows. There is however a lot of birdlife going on but you usually don't see them very often.
There is this one place however, Ingólfshöfði, which is a wild-life protected reserve where a huge colony of puffins is nesting.
You can tour around the area and see thousands of them. Moreover, the guide is very friendly and teaches a lot of different things about iceland and birds.
I caught this one with my 200mm lens when it was landing.
The funny thing with puffins is that they have wings that seem too small to fly. They manage to it anyway but they're not very stylish!
