I caught this ferocious beast sleeping, just in time for the afternoon nap.
According to the Oregon Zoo's website the Amur tiger is endangered mainly due to habitat loss and encroachment of civilization. Their flesh and bones highly prized for food and medicinal purposes" and "fewer than 400 Amur Tigers exist in the wild" (source: www.oregonzoo.org/Cards/Felines/tiger.amur.htm)
