Somehow I failed to check the flickr blog before, so this was first notice I saw of the purchase. Since then, I've read a bunch of articles and hundreds of postings on FlickrCentral...
Like most, I'm fearful of what might happen when a jackass company such as Yahoo takes over a gem like flickr. However, it seems Yahoo understands how great flickr is and truly wants to learn from Ludicorp instead of fucking everything up. I trust Stewart, Caterina, and Eric when they say flickr will not become another piece of Yahoo roadkill. Let's hope things get much better and not much worse.
