charlie was a big boy. he was also very matted. left at the shelter by his owner who could no longer take care of him, he was placed into our adoption program and adopted out. we sedated him and shaved him to alleviate the pain that the heavy matting was causing him.
Chai and Musu

Chai (the tabby one on the right) was rescued by an animal-adoption agency and taken into a volunteer's house when she was only weeks old. Musubi was already there waiting to be adopted. At 18 months, Musubi had a hard time finding a new home (most people want a kitten), and there the two bonded like a mother and daughter. Chai still has a strong attachment to Musubi.
