More Small Business Growth in New Britain

Senator Terry Gerratana and Connecticut Valley Bindery owner Kevin Hubert observe part of the process of collating and binding books and magazines at the company's plant at Hartford Square in New Britain. Hubert applied for and recently received a ,000 Small Business Express grant from the state which helped him purchase two new pieces of machinery and hire a technical school graduate. "I've been able to get the work out that much quicker with that much more quality - two important aspects. And it has actually allowed me to attract new people to work here," Hubert said.
