Miep lost in thought

Friends of mine went on holiday and asked me to take care of their cats, Miep and Whiskey. Whiskey is still a kitten and a very playful thing He wouldn't sit still :)
Miep is about 10 years old and has a mind of his own. He won't let you pet him unless he wants it. He does talk though. We had long conversations about the meaning of life and such.
Here he is trying to find a retort to my point "yes, but you're a cat".
He's a great cat. Everyone should have a Miep!
