I rescued this from a spider web at night. This bug is shaped like a damselfly but the headgear seem a bit large for that. It is about two inches long but only about 1/4 of its length is shown in this image.

Thinking of Jake

I joined flickr about 9 months ago and Jake (and his brother Bailey) was one of the first kitties I got to know. Not only was he handsome (orange) but his huge personality won me over completely.
This is one of the very first pictures I saw when I joined flickr. You can see how I instantly became a Jake fan.

Jake died last night and we will miss him.
The above picture is of Mack. I would have loved to post a favorite picture of Jake, but I'm sure there is a very good reason why I can't post someone else's picture on my photostream. lol
