The Tower's Leg

When I visited back in 1991, we climbed up all of those stairs to get to the first and second level of the Eiffel Tower. It was a lot cheaper then the elevator ride, and we didn't even take the elevator to the top. One of those things I later regretted, so we made a point of going up there while on our honeymoon.
I don't think they allow the public to climb the stairs now. Good thing too - that was a hard trip!
