CHARISMATIC MEGAFAUNA
this is a phrase for animals like tigers and lions and bears.
thus, charimatic fauna certainly describes this lad. the world can be quite thankful he didn't weigh over 500 pounds.
but what a whirlwind of life he was at 10 pounds!!!

This illustrates one of the ways that the animal keepers at the Houston Zoo try to enrich the lives of their animals. In this case, the keeper is using a meat stick to feed the tiger through the wire mesh. She holds the meat up high in order to get the tiger to rear up on its hind legs, a behavior it would do in the wild. This also illustrates the size of this Malaysian tiger, which weighs about 200 pounds and is much smaller than a Siberian tiger, which can get up to 600 pounds.

African elephants are the largest living land mammals, at 12,000+ pounds and 9 feet tall. Their trunk, the largest nose of any animal, can lift over 500 lbs. They have the longest pregnancy of any mammal at 22 months. They spend up to 18 hrs a day feeding.

The Management invited everyone to a Cocktail hour with wine & cheese. They also had quesadillas, but those went fast. Alcoholic lemonade, too. But it had coconut in it :/

She actually said she wasn't running away, but she was definitely running. Carolyn thinks she must have needed to go to the bathroom, but then why did she go all the way from the Beach House Cafe to the main building? Maybe it was something else.
